Pons Solar Energy is a family‑run company operating in Ticino, specialized in photovoltaic systems for private and corporate clients: on‑site consulting, quotes, incentive paperwork, installation and commissioning. ticinoWEB created the company website and now also handles the Odoo ERP that Pons uses daily.

Every photovoltaic system requires technical data, materials from multiple suppliers, incentive procedures and a construction site to manage. Keeping everything in separate sheets and programs wastes time and multiplies errors. That's why Pons works in a single Odoo, adapted to the installer’s trade.
An offer that knows the system
- The quote indicates roof orientation (azimuth) and slope, module area, estimated annual production, installation type (attached or integrated), self‑consumption and façade.
- The total power in kWp is calculated automatically from the modules included in the offer.
- A table of incentive rates, with validity dates and power ranges, allows calculating the federal contribution (Pronovo), the remuneration and the municipal contribution directly on the offer.
From the confirmed offer to the construction site
When the client confirms the offer, Odoo creates the construction project and links it to the order. From there, worked hours, purchases, stock material and invoices with Swiss QR‑invoice are tracked in the same system.
Suppliers price lists, without recopying
The suppliers' web shops for photovoltaic and electrical material are imported with ProduSync, the Odoo module developed by ticinoWEB: Pons enters its reseller login, selects the categories and Odoo creates or updates the products with purchase price, images and technical data. When prices change, the download is re‑run and the offers start from updated data.
