Sustainable data centers
Our sites and those of our clients are hosted on Infomaniak data centers, our Swiss hosting partner, powered 100% by renewable energy.
According to Infomaniak: external air cooling since 2013 (average PUE below 1.1), from 2025 the heat from new data centers will warm homes, carbon neutral since 2007 with 200% CO2 emissions offset.

Electricity
100% of the electricity in our offices comes from renewable sources: the Verzasca Dam. Computers, screens and servers run on hydroelectric energy produced in Ticino.
SES, which distributes electricity in the Upper Canton, has been publishing a sustainability report since 2006. In 2025: 41 photovoltaic plants, 65% of waste recycled or reused, 84.4% of lines underground and 74.9% of public lighting LED.

By train, on foot, in an electric car
All the ticinoWEB staff gets to work on foot or by train; for other trips there is the company electric car, powered by the same source as the office.
According to the FFS, the railway produces only 0.3% of CO2 emissions from transport in Switzerland; their trains run on 100% renewable electricity and the goal is net-zero emissions by 2040.

A team that lives in Ticino
All ticinoWEB collaborators live in Ticino: commutes remain short and work stays in the area where people live.
Working where you work means knowing the territory and the companies we collaborate with, in Ticino and in Switzerland.
Less plastic
To avoid dispersing PET into the environment we have implemented a water filtration system to hydrate our employees healthily, who use reusable containers. In addition, the water is purified with UV rays to eliminate any bacteria.
Each employee uses their own container: no single‑use bottle to dispose of in the office.

Environment 6/10: offices with 100% renewable energy, partner Infomaniak data center with certified renewable energy (data reported by the provider), staff on foot or train and company electric car, less plastic with filtered water. Missing CO2 footprint measurement and an environmental certification.
People 4/10: the whole team lives in Ticino, social commitment supporting associations, customer support with tickets even after delivery. Still lacking formalised training and policies for team wellbeing.
Governance 4/10: public company data (legal name, registration number, terms, privacy), cookie consent and data protection, partners also chosen for renewable energy. Missing a written code of ethics and an external audit.
