Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the site ticinoweb.com, operated by ticinoWEB of Giovanni Frino (Via Serafino Balestra 6, 6600 Locarno), and how you can control them. To learn how we treat your personal data also read the privacy policy.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that the site saves in your browser. They are used, for example, to remember your choices, to make the cart work or to understand how the site is used. Some similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (local storage), serve the same purpose and we refer to them as “cookies” here.

On your first visit we show a banner: you can accept all, reject, or choose categories with “Customize”. Necessary cookies do not require consent. Statistical cookies are activated only if you accept them. Your choice is saved for 1 year and you can change it at any time from the Legal documents page, using the “Change cookie preferences” button.

Necessary cookies

They are essential for the site to function and to remember your choices. They cannot be disabled.

Order attribution (WooCommerce)

The WooCommerce store may save some cookies to understand from which channel (search, social, direct link) an order arrives:

If you accept this category we use Google Analytics 4 to measure in aggregate how the site is used: pages visited, source, device type. We anonymize the IP address. Before your consent Google Analytics is not loaded.

The data may be processed by Google also outside Switzerland and the European Union. You can refuse this category from the banner or use the Google opt‑out add‑on.

Marketing cookies

At the moment we do not use marketing or profiling cookies. The banner provides this category and, if we introduce it in the future, it will remain disabled until you give consent and this page will be updated.

Third‑party services

  • Google Fonts: the site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers; therefore your browser sends your IP address to Google, even without cookies.
  • External links and content (for example YouTube, social networks, Stripe for payments): if you open a link or content from another site, that site may use its own cookies. We invite you to read their privacy notices.

How to delete or block cookies from the browser

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work.
