Filomarino Servizio Chiavi SA is a Locarno company specialized in mechanical and electronic cylinders, key copies, door and safe openings, with a guard service active 365 days a year. Since 2023 ticinoWEB supports Filomarino with an Odoo ERP that, step by step, has become the hub of the whole activity.
The challenge
Store at the counter, interventions from customers, orders from property administrations, quotes, invoices and inventory: many different activities that risked living on separate tools. The goal was to bring everything together in a single system, easy to use for every employee.
An ERP built for stages
- Contacts, quotes, invoices and calendar as a starting base, with automatic bank reconciliation via bank file.
- Store cash register (POS) with daily sales report, statistics and invoice to the customer directly from the register.
- Inventory with migration of existing stock.
- Field interventions: agenda to see all interventions at a glance, work orders and invoice created directly from the order, with personalized access for each employee.
- Website and e‑commerce on Odoo: shop with cart, online payments and search filters, linked to the same inventory and the same prices of the ERP.
Dedicated forms for administrations
Property administrations have a reserved section on the site: they can order additional keys with the security card or new cylinders by filling out a guided form. The request arrives directly in the ERP, without emails to copy and without data lost along the way.
The next step: Odoo 19
Today we are moving the ERP from Odoo 16 to Odoo 19, the latest and supported version, to get higher speed, greater security and updated compliance with Swiss regulations on invoices and VAT. With the migration come also new improvements requested by the client: selectable payment reminders, all customer payments visible with one click and also on the invoice, sending documents from each user’s email address, a new receipt printing and the Google Maps link directly from the calendar event.
